2008 fall membership meeting

meeting
Each dinner table will be hosted by a member of the board or management who will facilitate discussions. Shown at right here, community relations manager Tom Monahan hosted a table at last year’s fall member meeting.

Tuesday, October 28, 5:30 p.m.

St. Demetrios Hall
2100 Boyer Ave. E, Seattle, Wash.

In recognition of National Co-op Month and PCC’s 55-year history as a cooperative, our fall meeting program will celebrate PCC milestones over the past five decades and the triple bottom-line approach to business that will keep PCC viable in the future.

This unique program will feature a performance by PCC member Steffan Soule, a professional magician and expert in communicating about sustainability — through magical illusions. Our Director of Sustainability, Diana Crane, notes, “Steffan’s performance will be a fun way to celebrate our history and talk about the things PCC is doing financially, socially and environmentally to take sustainability seriously.”

meeting planners
Staff nutrition educator and human resources coordinator Rita Condon, prepared foods specialist Leon Bloom and employment coordinator Jill Edwards are once again planning a great menu and meal service for our fall meeting.

We’ll begin with a fabulous PCC-prepared meal and lively dinner table discussions facilitated by members of the board and management staff. We’ll also present a special sustainability award to a PCC member whose work is having a positive impact on our community.

Please email or call Janice Parker at 206-547-1222 should you have questions that you’d like to include in the discussions at the meeting. And don’t forget to RSVP by October 21.
